Michael Westley's contribution to this publication was as the designer of the Connor Downs School's preformative learning environment in which the author carried out her investigation of school children's imagined and experienced responses to a specifically designed outdoor learning space. Michael Westley then took part in a series of interviews with the author, which material informed the content of the paper.
